Does Your Live Show Suck?
Why do so many musicians pour so much time, energy and money into their gear and recordings ... then just show up to do a live gig?

so many bands are such a disappointment live!! i can count on one hand how many concerts i have been to that have totally rocked... i just saw Eric Solomon live and he blew me away, the whole crowd was so into him, amazing. i hadnt actually heard too much of him before and now i am a lifelong fan. that is the way concerts should be.
Well put - "The audience goes to a show to experience moments." As a solo performer that records pretty rich orchestrations, bringing these moments alive in performance has been particularly difficult. I need to connect with the songs when I perform them solo in a different way, since those huge sounding moments are impossible with one guy on stage. But I've felt them happen, when I forget the nerves and only know the song...
Tom Jackson is the real deal!! I've seen him transform artists live in front of an audience.... and when he is finished.. the audience is on it's feet screaming!! It's an amazing thing to witness!
