When Talent Shows Attack!

They're back! Randy, Paula, Simon and everyone's favorite over-hyped reality TV talent show -- American Idol. Well, I've ranted about it before. But in case you missed them, be sure to check out two things:

    i just read your article on reality shows and 'american idol', who said that reality tv is supposed to be real?

    While you may be correct in your premise about American Idol conveying the wrong idea about being discovered - the one True thing the Show does get across is that you must have talent. You must be able to sing and at least have some type of stage presence. All the self promotion in the world will not help you if you suck.
