In This Issue: WELCOME! If you ever wonder whether reading every weekly issue of The Buzz Factor is worth your time (and shame on you if you ever question it :), consider this note I just received from subscriber R Tyck of Unamerican Records at www.unamericanrecords.com. "Just wanted to drop you a quick note saying thank you. I couple months back you alerted us to some sites that were eager to review new music. One was godsofmusic.com. Well, I promptly went to the Gods' site and submitted an MP3 from our debut release, Eric Ray's 'Lucky Robot.' Sure enough, within a week they had a review of the song 'Joy' up on their site. "Best of all, the reviewer gave it a glowing write-up, which prompted Godsofmusic to name Eric their artist of the month for November. As a result, our web site received a noticeable bump in traffic. Plus, we sold a number of CDs through our 'try before you buy' offer, which we made specifically to visitors from the Godsofmusic site. Not a bad return for an investment of a half an hour of my time." Just like oxygen, food and occasional sleep, make The Buzz Factor a regular part of your week. Could you use a new revenue stream? And preferably a steam that's not running OUT of your bank account? If so, the resources in this issue should interest you. Whether you're looking for new places to perform, new people to perform with or a day job that's smack dab in the middle of the music industry, read on! -Bob P.S.
