Iraqi Information Minister
Has a New Job in the Music Industry

Hollywood, CA -- During his first press conference as the new spokesperson for the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), former Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Said Al-Sahhaf stated, "Major label conglomerates are more profitable than they've ever been. CD sales have never been better.

"All those news stories about slumping music sales are all lies. 2002 was a banner year. File sharing and CD burning have had no effect whatsoever on the financial health of the great and powerful music industry."

Al-Sahhaf also implored, "Despite what you've heard from the media infidels, Cher has never had a face lift, Madonna is an Academy Award caliber actress and Michael Jackson is about to launch the mother of all comebacks. Oh, and by the way, 'agreeance' IS a real word!

"One more thing," he added. "The Dixie Chicks did NOT say they were ashamed of President Bush. That's a lie. They have never even been to England."
